You can actually farm a ton of runes here by using a glitch—just jump off the mountain! For this, you’ll need the Heal spell, which you can get from a character at the Roundtable. If you can’t find it there, you can also grab it at the Altus Plateau. So let’s get started!
Step-by-Step Guide to Farming Runes
First, you’ll find it on this path. Obviously, in March, on the 2nd, the glitch still works, so I’m doing another updated video to show you that the glitch is still good. Let’s check it out with the little goat! Once you reach this spot, you’ll want to hang out here for a bit. You’ll also find a video in the description on how to get to Moin’s palace and how to get the golden pickled chicken foot. This chicken foot is gonna help you boost your runes, so let’s go!
Creating the Golden Pickled Chicken Foot
Just a moment to create it—we made the paw, and I’ve also left a link in the description for the video to find the golden beetle. It increases the runes you absorb from defeated enemies. Now, all we have to do is head over to that spot, so let’s go all the way to the right until we reach a little cliff because then we’ll need to climb. Just be careful of the skeleton behind us! Let’s turn all the way to the left. And here we are! Up here, there are two spots where you can glitch. Both are great, and one gives 50,000 more, and some people are even offering 100,000 extra. It really depends on how many runes you’re getting. We can either go left or right, so let’s take a quick detour to the left. This way, you could get around 70,000 extra runes. Of course, in the sixth trip, I’m getting 600.
Executing the Glitch
So, you need to hold it down like this while you jump off. Hold down the Heal spell button and stay glitching like this on Elden Ring. After about 30 seconds, you’ll receive a ton of runes. And here they come! As you can see, from 1,000 we’ve reached around 1,700,000. So, 500,000 runes the game has given us. Now, wait for another wave, and more runes will come. And here they are! We might even go above 1,743,000 runes. So, 543 runes the game has given us. Once you’ve done this, you can also open the map. I recommend opening the map quickly and teleporting to this point here on the winding road. This way, you can start farming. Arrive here and start farming with the final boss’s sword. You can find the video on how to get this sword directly in the description. Now, let’s go back to that spot again. This time, I’ll show you the other spot, and we won’t use any boosts. Reach the spot on the right and position yourself here. Obviously, if you land on this rock, keep jumping off. Here we go! And as soon as you cross this mountain, keep glitching. Obviously, this glitch has existed since the game came out. Some people glitch, while others farm on Elden Ring. I’ve been playing since February 2022, so after various breaks, playing here and there, I finally reached the maximum level, level 713, slowly farming the glitch. But I did it after, like, level 300. So I farmed up to level 300 and then started playing because the more levels you have, the more trips you make, the more runes the game will give you, and the more powerful the enemies will be. With this wave, we’ll go above 2 million runes, but without the boost, the runes are very few. And here they are! So, the game has given us around 410,000 to 420,000 runes, maybe even more. If we wait a few more seconds, more runes will come. And here they are! More runes. Then, when you’re done, you can also open the map and return to that farming spot. And here we are!
